Love Your Glass
We packed up our cameras and lights as well as some sound equipment and hit the road! Shoots like these are a challenge because a videographer is never sure what kind of conditions they will encounter once they arrive at the location. This shoot was no different.Location, Location, Location
The bathroom set we were brought to was beautiful, but the location had one south facing wall made of glass. This created a challenge when shooting glass because the light reflected off everything we were trying to shoot! To get the shots we needed and make the product look as stellar as possible, we hung sheets up to block any extra light in the room so we could set up our lights to make the location look as beautiful as possible. That blue accent light really makes it pop, right?
Commercials Are Our Business
The shoot lasted from morning until early afternoon. We brought in plenty of extras (including some friends from ESB Advertising) and set about to getting the shots we needed. It may look like a bustling party but behind the lens is a crew holding lights and microphones to make sure we get the footage in the can with professional level sound and lighting. The finished product speaks for itself, but that much should have been obvious. When you hire Gearshift to shoot your commercial, you're hiring the best.
