Looking Back
This is My Brave is a brilliant organization shining a light on the stigma facing people struggling with mental illness, and gives those people a safe outlet to discuss their journeys. They've grown from the D.C. area to having shows across the country and now, after five years, its time to look back at where they started. Naturally, they wanted to produce a video for the occasion and Gearshift, being a long time supporter, was happy to help!
Five Years Brave
We have been honored to support this amazing organization from day one, and very proud of how far they have come. The evidence is in the video! You can see how many stories have been told over the years in many many different cities. Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Boise have all hosted TiMB shows featuring hundreds of cast members sharing their stories with thousands of supportive audience members. It has truly been an incredible experience watching this organization grow.
Celebrate Every Occasion
The five year anniversary was a great occasion for TiMB to launch their new website and have new content ready to go along with the new site. To produce the video we worked with their media team to source footage from all their different shows over the years as well as some of their promotional photography. We then brought in some former cast members, ranging from the first show to the latest show, to reflect on their experience.
Producing this video was a great exercise in story construction. At Gearshift, a core part of our mission is telling your story. What we learned from telling this one is that anniversaries are a great opportunity to reach a new audience and explain what your business or organization is all about. If you want our help commemorating a big occasion with video, be sure to use the contact form on the side of the page. And to learn more about this great organization, check out their website.
